John Musgrave Bolanos is an experienced Headteacher, Consultant and School Governor with more than thirty years in education. Having led schools in a range of challenging contexts, he now works with leaders across the country to strengthen leadership, teaching and school improvement.
His consultancy focuses on helping schools develop clear thinking about curriculum, teaching and inclusion while building strong leadership systems that sustain improvement. This often includes supporting leaders with monitoring, self evaluation, internal data, IDSR analysis and the wider barriers to learning and well-being that influence pupils’ achievement.
John’s work is known for being practical, honest and grounded in real school experience.
