Description
This document has been developed to support subject leaders in evaluating their subject area in order to prepare for the ‘deep dive’ process of the OFSTED inspection framework. This will assist subject leaders to develop their understanding of the strengths and areas for development in their subject, and also help them to prepare for the inspection process. It is a really useful tool for subject leaders, especially if a school is due for an inspection. The document can be used for any curriculum subject.
This audit tool is based on the six areas of the ‘deep dive’ process used during actual OFSTED inspections. It will also enable a subject leader to focus on the key elements as part of their ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
